St. Luke’s is deeply committed to the blessings of Lutheran Education. For years, our congregation has been steadfast in its support of this vital mission, recognizing that educating our youth is not only an investment in their individual growth but also in the enduring strength of our church community. There are various ways for you to participate in our mission of supporting Lutheran Education:

Elementary and High Schools
  • Winona, MN – St. Matthew’s Lutheran School-K-8 private school is designed for elementary school-age children, 5 to 14 years old, with a course of study leading to entrance into high school, and ultimately to prepare them for eternity.
  • Nodine, MN: St. John’s Lutheran School – PreK-8th Grade Teaching God’s Children about God’s World in Light of God’s Word
  • Onalaska, WI – Luther High School -Luther High School provides a Christ-centered education that encourages and equips students for life and for eternity. Luther High School desires that its students, mindful of baptismal grace, live the holiness that God gave to them in Christ.
  • Haiti – Branch Lutheran Schools Branch Schools funds three Lutheran elementary schools based in orphanages in the Port-au-Prince area, one Lutheran middle school in Pilate, one preschool and kindergarten in Les Palmes, and one preschool and kindergarten in Cap-Haitien. These schools provide education to orphans and other underserved children in Haiti.

  • New Ulm, MN – Martin Lutheran College (MLC) – The mission of Martin Luther College is to train a corps of Christian witnesses who are qualified to meet the ministry needs of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod.
  • Education Assistance from 1st Grade through College for Students attending WELS & Sister Synod Schools.
  • Mankato, MN – Bethany Lutheran College – The Bible serves as the foundation for Bethany’s Christian Mission and worldview that shapes our approach to education, spiritual life, daily life, and partnerships with conservative donors which makes Bethany the natural choice for parents and students.
  • Milwaukee, WI – Wisconsin Luther College – At Wisconsin Lutheran College, you’ll be prepared for life’s critical moments, ready to step into your unique purpose. We’ll deliver an academic and faith experience that activates your potential and instills in you a sense of confidence so that you can make a meaningful difference — as a bold Christian leader.
  • Mequon, WI – Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary – The purpose of Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary is to equip pastors for the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod or churches and cultural groups within its confessional fellowship.
  • Mankato, MN – Bethany Lutheran Theological Seminary – Bethany Lutheran Theological Seminary’s primary purpose is to provide the Evangelical Lutheran Synod (ELS) with pastors for her churches, and the churches of her broader international fellowship.
