We are excited to meet you and want you to feel right at home! Everyone is welcome and can find a place here, whether you have been coming to St. Luke’s for years, or it’s your first time.
What to Expect
Our Sunday worship service is a time for spiritual rest, where you will hear God’s word and its application in your life. It is a time to hear God’s promises and to receive forgiveness of sins, which Jesus won for all people. Each Christian church has its unique way of worshiping. Below are answers to some questions you may be wondering about our service.
- The order of service is projected for all to see at the front of the Church
- Large Print Service materials are available.
- We have a Lift for those who have a need for ease of entry.
- We can accommodate people who want to take Communion from their Pew.
- We have a wheelchair available for use by anyone who wants to use it.
We have two Worship services each week:
• Sunday Morning- 10:30 AM followed by Sunday School at 11:30 AM
• Thursday evening-6:30 PM
Our services are not live-streamed. But they can be viewed on YouTube or Facebook page after the Service.
Our Worship service is about one hour in length.
We love having kids in church, and we believe that worshipping together as a family is important for both parents and children.
There is a Community Park next to the church where children like to go after the Service or Sunday School.
Please wear what you feel comfortable in. For some people this is jeans and a T-shirt, for others, it is a suit and tie. Whether you like getting dressed up or not, it is what you are receiving from God’s word that counts.
What is your Worship style like?
Our service follows a liturgy. This means that there is an order to our service that we follow from week to week, but the content changes based on the scripture readings and sermon theme. We use our Bulletin, Christian Worship, and the Bible for our services.
We celebrate the Lord’s Supper (Communion) on the first and third Sundays of the month. It is a wonderful gift from our gracious God. In His Word, God teaches that Christians need a proper understanding of the Lord’s Supper before receiving it (1 Corinthians 11:27-29). God also tells us that Christians should be completely united before communing together (1 Corinthians 10:17). Therefore, we ask that you speak to the Pastor before communing with us for the first time.
